Envelope
Learn how Gee Hoe Seng Pte Ltd (GHS) manages the proper disposal and recycling of paper envelopes, including those with plastic windows.
Envelopes are recyclable, but special attention should be given to those with plastic film windows. While one or two plastic windows will not cause major contamination, large quantities can reduce the overall recycling quality.

Is it Recyclable?
Yes — envelopes are recyclable, but plastic film windows should be removed whenever possible.
The paper portion of an envelope is recyclable through regular paper recycling streams. However, the plastic window is non-recyclable and should be separated to maintain paper purity and prevent plastic contamination during the recycling process.
