Self drop-off is free at our Ubi facility. Ad-hoc collection starts from $120 per trip. Regular scheduled collection is free for qualifying volumes of 500kg or more per material type, with cash rebates paid based on prevailing market rates.
We hold a General Waste Collector licence (Class A and Class B) issued by the National Environment Agency and have operated in Singapore since 1992. Certified secure data destruction is available for hard drives, servers, and data-bearing devices.
Singapore E-Waste Statistics and the EPR Scheme
According to the National Environment Agency (NEA), Singapore generates tens of thousands of tonnes of electronic waste (e-waste) every year — from discarded computers and mobile phones to household appliances and industrial equipment.
E-waste is one of the fastest-growing waste streams, containing valuable metals such as copper, gold, and palladium, alongside hazardous materials that must be properly managed.
What is E-Waste Recycling?
E-waste (electronic waste) refers to discarded electronic devices such as computers, smartphones, televisions, and other electronic appliances. These devices contain hazardous materials that can harm the environment if not disposed of properly.
E-waste recycling involves the process of recovering valuable materials from these devices while ensuring safe and environmentally friendly disposal.
At Gee Hoe Seng, we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of electronic waste. By using our e-waste recycling services, you can be confident that your electronic waste is being disposed and handled in an environmentally responsible manner.

Types of E-Waste We Recycle from Singapore Businesses
We accept: Aircon blowers and compressors, computer CPUs, data cable wire, hard disk drives and RAM, servers, heat sinks, motherboards, network switches, pumps and air compressors.
We do not accept: Printers, copiers, monitors, televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, air-conditioners (consumer units), and household appliances.
Learn more about accepted materials and handling requirements in our Recycling & Waste Guides.
E-Waste Collection Options and Pricing
Pricing is based on the type and condition of e-waste, as different materials require specific handling and recycling processes.
Different recyclable materials may be combined, provided they are properly sorted and separated. The options below provide a general pricing guide.

How Our E-Waste Recycling Process Works
E-waste recycling is a complex process. At Gee Hoe Seng, our team ensures that electronic waste is handled securely and responsibly. We are always available to answer your questions and guide you on how to properly dispose of e-waste in compliance with NEA regulations.
In general, the process of e-waste recycling involves several key stages:
1. E-Waste Collection
Electronic waste is collected from offices, factories, warehouses, and commercial buildings using our own fleet of vehicles. Our in-house team ensures timely and compliant collection for all clients.
2. E-Waste Sorting
Collected materials are sorted into categories such as computers, laptops, desktops, power supplies, heatsinks etc. This step ensures that components are properly categorized.
3. Data Destruction
If required, sensitive data stored in devices such as hard drives and servers is securely erased or physically destroyed using certified data destruction methods, ensuring complete confidentiality. For organizations handling sensitive information, learn more about our secure data destruction services and certified handling standards.
4. Dismantling & Material Recovery
The e-waste is dismantled into components (plastics, circuit boards, metals). Materials are separated for recovery, while other parts are safely treated.
5. Recycling & Refining
Recovered materials are sent to licensed recyclers for refining and processing into new raw materials — supporting a circular economy and reducing the demand for virgin resources.
Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about e-waste recycling, accepted devices, or data destruction? Explore our FAQs below.
Different recyclable materials may be combined in a single collection, provided they are properly sorted and separated by material type. Mixed or unsorted loads may affect pricing and rebate eligibility. Contact us to discuss your specific waste streams before scheduling.
Singapore’s EPR scheme places responsibility on producers and importers of regulated electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) to fund proper collection and recycling of their products at end of life. If your business manufactures or imports regulated electronic products for supply in Singapore, you have direct obligations under the Resource Sustainability Act — including NEA registration and, where applicable, financing the Producer Responsibility Scheme.
If your business is simply disposing of unwanted e-waste as a user — such as upgrading office computers or clearing server equipment — you are not directly obligated under the EPR scheme. However, engaging a licensed collector ensures your disposal is handled in full compliance with NEA regulations and provides the documentation trail needed for ISO 14001 and ESG reporting.
Hard drives and data-bearing devices collected for recycling are processed under our secure handling procedures. For businesses requiring certified data destruction with a destruction certificate for PDPA compliance, please refer to our Secure Data Destruction service.
Yes. We provide collection documentation for businesses requiring records for NEA compliance, ISO 14001 audits, or ESG reporting purposes. Contact us to discuss your specific documentation requirements before scheduling collection.
